Get Involved
Project Green - Tree Planting
The school surrounding areas was once agricultural lands. In the recent past, the ground water has turned highly salty and hence has become unsuitable for cultivation. Due to this reason the whole area is devoid of trees. The Trust is committed to turning this whole area green. We aim to plant 75 trees a year in the village roads and highways in the School locality. We have started by planting avenue trees in the roads adjacent to our school. Our 4th and 5th Std children are involved in this project.

Bal Vikas - Character Building
Bal Vikas is a group learning exercise conducted during weekends where children are taught moral, hygiene and social values in a lively playful setting through a mix of simple intellectual interactions, thought provoking plays and invigorating sports. The idea is to convey noble concepts through simple ways.

General and Specialised Medical Camps
The Trust organizes periodic General and Specialized Medical Camps for villagers in the villages in and around Arasankazhani in coordination with like-minded organizations.
We also coordinate and try to organize free medical treatment/surgery for the villagers with institutions like Adyar VHS, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences.

The Trust also co-ordinates with other like-minded organizations/individuals in activities like
- Conducting Citizen Awareness programs about Government Schemes and legal frameworks (like RTI) to villagers in the School locality by partnering with Satta Panchayat Iyakkam, Chennai
- Conducting free Vocational Classes (Tailoring) for the women folk
- Distribution of Books and Notebooks to needy children every academic year
- Relief activities during floods - Distribution of food, clothing & bed sheets
